It has been a busy few weeks.  I was able to go to SLC to shoot my cousin’s wedding.  (OK, my cousin’s daughter, but saying that makes me feel OLD… and since I had a birthday 2 days before the wedding, I don’t need any other reminders.)

This AZ girl was really excited to do a UT winter wedding.  Snow?  Jackets? Gloves?  What is that?!  Well, let me tell you… IT WAS FUN!  OK, cold, but so fun to do something so totally different.

These guys were great.  Rachael was dressed for the winter wedding (unlike several other brides we saw on the Temple grounds in short sleeves).  I just love how her cape works with the freshly fallen snow!

We were so lucky to have timed the day just right - every time we were outside it had stopped snowing… and even had blue skies for a couple minutes.  But snowed enough to give us a brand-new fresh blanket of snow to make everything BEAUTIFUL.

I love this shot of them walking out of the Temple with the snow blowing…

Mike came along with me to assist at the wedding and to celebrate my birthday… it was so fun to work with him again… it’s been a LONG time since I have had him shoot a wedding with me.  He got this shot below.  I LOVE IT!

This was a new one for me… these flowers were used on Rachael’s mom’s cake when she got married.  She had saved them and Rachael thought it would be neat to use them on her wedding cake!

I normally don’t include “formals” on my blog.  They are  usually kind of boring to look at, but this one is pretty special… this is my Aunt Diana, Rachael and her mom, Trisha (my cousin), and my grandma.  It is pretty neat when I get to shoot a wedding and have the grandparents there, but I don’t think I have done too many weddings with 4 generations!  Can you believe my grandma… 92 years old and still traveling all over!

I love all of these details.  Her dress was gorgeous… LOVE the flowers, and I love the rings just barely showing in this picture.

And of course, the sparklers shot.  One day I will get sick of this, I am sure, but I still love it.
