Phil and Lisa met on a camping trip at Lake Pleasant. He claims it was love at first sight, Lisa doesn’t quite believe him. They were, however, instantly drawn to each other and became good friends. Lisa was training for her first triathlon and Phil had been a lifelong competitive cyclist. Their sense of adventure and willingness to try anything once only served to fuel the flames of attraction between them. A few weeks after they met, their 4 kids (Phil’s son and daughter and Lisa’s daughters) were introduced to each other on another camping trip. The kids hit it off immediately! Its as if all 4 of them have spent their entire lives growing up together.

You know how some couples just exude happiness, love, and devotion? Well, it won’t take you more than 2 seconds to see that these guys are right there on the top of the list! We had a great time working with Jonathan and Beth - they are so easy-going, happy, and relaxed. It might have been that this was their third reception… that’s right… THIRD… so they are pretty much pros at the wedding scene by now, but I think it has a lot to do with the fact that they are just cool people.

The weatherman forecasted rain, storms and wind… but what we got instead was an AMAZING AZ sunset at one of my favorite outdoor venues in the valley.

We just got back from a whirlwind weekend to UT to celebrate the marriage of my brother-in-law, Marshall, to his love, Sophie! It was great to all be together. I almost didn’t pack my camera, but glad I grabbed it at the last minute so I could capture just a few quick images of the happy couple…

Congrats Marshall and Sophie!!! We sure love you guys! Kate hasn’t stopped talking about Princess Sophie and her pretty wedding dress! I think she may just have a new favorite aunt… (sorry to all you others… but know she is easily won over with diamonds, clothes, and fancy shoes!)
