Yea!  I love this session!  I’ve taken pictures of my family for years, but I have NEVER done a session for just my parents before.  I was actually a little bit surprised that my dad went along with this!  :)  Way to be a good sport, Dad!  Dad… you look amazing.  Mom, beautiful as always.  Guess everyone can now see where I get my good looks from!  :)  hee hee!  Love you guys!

I am so excited to share this session… Katrina was the lucky winner of our first give-away - a set of Holiday Cards!  We were able to squeeze them into a last minute cancelation, and I’m so glad I was able to get these image for them.

This has been a particularly trying summer/fall for them… Katrina’s girls decided to give living with their dad a try - so moved out to spend the school year in Texas… and a week later, Jay was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of brain cancer.  I can’t possibly do their story justice - nor do I want this session to be about either of those things.  I’m just happy that in the midst of all of this, they were able to get some updated images of the two of them!  I found out that we were at the very location that they had done their engagement session three years prior (I hope I got that timeline right!)

They are both amazing, strong, and beautiful people.  I love their fun spirit that shines through in these images and the bond and love that they share for each other.
