Boudoir photography has really become popular in the last few years.  Many of my brides choose to create a boudoir album for their new husband as the ultimate wedding gift.  What more could he ask for than you?

I really don’t showcase my boudoir photography that much because I believe it is a personal session that shouldn’t be shared with EVERYONE.  But more important than the actual photographs, is the boudoir EXPERIENCE that is my favorite.  It is all about making you look and feel gorgeous.  I love talking to women to find out what features they like most about themselves, and which ones aren’t quite their favorites.  It is my job to highlight those strong features and minimize the things we don’t love about ourselves.

Many people think boudoir is only for the lingerie model with a great body, or a photographer with mad photoshop skills.  Not so!  Boudoir is for everyone.  It is about lighting, shadows, mystery, and suggestion.  It’s the idea of seduction and romance.

I think the reason I like boudoir photography so much is because most people are a tad nervous going into the session, but absolutely are blown away by how good they look when they see the final image!  Society and the media have given us a warped sense of body image and what is truly beautiful.  As women, we tend to be pretty hard on ourselves!  But, when these same women see their images, their self confidence is higher not only because of the beautiful images we have created together, but because of the fun experience!
