I am so excited to get to shoot this session and upcoming wedding! I have known Michelle and her family for maybe 20 years, so it is very fun to see her getting married and be able to be a part of it!
I asked Michelle and Thomas how they met and the story had something to do with a cow and Christmas Carols… Definitely a first for me…

I was so excited to photograph this little guy. His parents, Alli and Shane, stare down at me everyday as I sit at my computer… you see I have a 40×60 canvas wrapped print of them sitting against a GORGEOUS tree along Oak Creek in Sedona. (Click here to see the image).
Since their wedding in June of 2007 (man, I hope I got that date right), Alli has started her own photography company! I am certain that little Cannon is going to be one of the most photographed babies ever, but was so honored that she would ask me to come and document their first family portrait and newborn session!
Well, he was a champ! We were able to get through several poses without any fuss at all! Enjoy:

You know how some couples just exude happiness, love, and devotion? Well, it won’t take you more than 2 seconds to see that these guys are right there on the top of the list! We had a great time working with Jonathan and Beth - they are so easy-going, happy, and relaxed. It might have been that this was their third reception… that’s right… THIRD… so they are pretty much pros at the wedding scene by now, but I think it has a lot to do with the fact that they are just cool people.
The weatherman forecasted rain, storms and wind… but what we got instead was an AMAZING AZ sunset at one of my favorite outdoor venues in the valley.
