Wow!  10 years.  Really?  Am I really that old?  I sure don’t feel it.

I’m feeling a tad bit guilty today as I leave my husband in a couple hours to go out to DC to second shoot a wedding with Jennifer Garbett. I mean, who leaves their spouse on their 10th anniversary to share a hotel room with someone else?  OK, that came out wrong, but you get the idea.  Not that idea!  Come on people!

But, I quickly pointed out that he left me first this morning to work, so really, I’m just slipping away to work after him (and will just be gone for a few extra days.)  Besides, we took that amazing 7-day cruise a few weeks back as our celebration!   And to be honest, I don’t think there is anyway we could top that!

Needless to say, I am incredibly grateful to have such an amazing husband!  He is my best friend.  It really doesn’t matter what I am doing, I would just rather be with him.  It is silly (yes, Mike, I used that word for you), but we will spend Saturdays running errands together rather than divide and conquer!  Somehow braving Costco on a Saturday with 3 kids AND Mike ends up being more enjoyable than doing it alone.  Notice I did not say easier?

He is the most kind, patient, understanding, and supportive person I know.  He is so giving, selfless and random.  He loves his family and truly does all he can to make us all happy.  I know, an impossible task, but he does try and does succeed more often than you can imagine.
