This is a couple weeks overdue, but I have been waiting to get familiar with the new blog and get some of the kinks worked out before I made the official announcement… but here it is…

Welcome to our new blog-site!  When I FINALLY decided to add one more project to my plate and start my blog last year, I didn’t fully realize what a great tool it would be for me, my clients, and other photographers.

I’ll admit… I have had a love/hate relationship with my blog and website.  I loved my blog -  how easy it was for me to keep everyone (and by everyone, I mean all of those who actually stop by and visit because all those who don’t really don’t count as anyone) updated.  I loved that my most current work, promotions, and thoughts were front and center.  And I loved that I can just make a post and not stress about what I was saying because it was just a post and not “my website”.

The hate part of our relationship… well, that was with my website.  I had this overbearing guilt that I was ignoring the website.  It was getting NO attention due to my new, quick, stylish blog.  The website had fallen behind in being updated and had been on my “to-do” list for now over 2 years!

Well, I finally came to realize that there is no need for 2 sites, and the wonderfully talented Brian Crouch with Skooks Design has created this new blog-site to combine everything  (yes everything) you need to know in one fun, great place.

So, take a look around… navigate through our galleries, search through the categories to see recent work, search by keywords, and don’t forget to bookmark us!  For all those who had the old blog bookmarked, it will need to be replaced. Brian has also added a cool new email subscription above if you prefer to get updates right into your inbox.  We’ll be keeping this updated on a regular (like my don’t-make-me-commit-to-something-I-am-bound-to-fail word choice?) basis.  Don’t forget to check out LaTricia’s feed under the “about us” link.  You can see what she has been up to as well.

And for all you facebook fans, there is help for us. we have started a fan page!  Please help out the ego and join.  I know it is the quality of you fans that count, but the numbers are also kind of cool too.  So share this with friends and family and let’s see it grow!
