I have been to a lot of weddings. A. LOT. I have seen a lot of great ideas… a few interesting choices… wonderful families… a few very questionable and dysfunctional ones… fun wedding parties… tears… hugs… fights (yeah, you read that right)… and almost everything in between. I really have enjoyed working with all of my couples. I have been really lucky. But there are those few that just really stand out. I can’t really describe what it is, except they are genuinely just good, nice, people. Well, Emily and Jed and their entire family, wedding party, and guest list were just that!
Everything was beautiful about this day, and I just thoroughly enjoyed being able to work with Emily & Jed. Here is a few images from their wedding - the rest will be ready in a week, so please check back!
Getting Ready: Millenium Hotel
Ceremony: Mt. View Presbyterian Church
Reception: McCormick Ranch Golf Club

I love this quiet moment I got! Have I mentioned I love my job? How cool is it that I get to capture things like this?

One of my favorites of the day. I feel like we step out of an old Hollywood movie…

This may be my favorite. Yummy light! Wow… Emily is just stunning!

Don’t you just want to join them? They are having so much fun!

OK, As soon as I track down the bakery that did these cupcakes, I will make a post just for this. These were by far the BEST cupcakes I have ever had. That frosting… AMAZING! Yup. Licked off the whole thing. Emily said I should have 9. I laughed, took one on my way out that night and have regretted it ever since. Should have gone for the whole 9. Sprinkles… sorry… you don’t even compare!

Remember Where’s Waldo? Yeah… Let’s play Where’s Emily and Jed… This was their dance floor the ENTIRE evening. I have never seen anything like it. The few guests that weren’t dancing (I think only because there literally was not a free inch on the floor) were standing on chairs around the edge just like me.

I love the father/daughter dance. And now that I have a daughter (granted a LONG way off from this moment), I tear up almost every week watching this dance.
