Tempe Senior Session - Sam

Sam… you rock!  I probably could have spent another hour shooting with him, but I’ve got to remember not EVERYONE loves this as much as me!  I met Sam down in Tempe and we had a blast looking for fun spots and great light.  He is so easy to photograph, that I couldn’t narrow down his choices… sorry Heidi and Sam… you are going to have over 200 images to look through!  It was hard enough to come up with just a couple for the blog.

Spring for Charity - SUCCESS!

First and foremost, I need to publicly give a BIG thank you to all of those that helped, participated, and made Spring for Charity possible!  I especially wanted to thank my sister, Anne, who flew out from DC to help with this event.  Also a big thanks to my mom and Jennifer’s mom… they  not only helped with the event, but helped wrangle our kids so we had one six less things to worry about!  And last and definitely not least… thanks to our husbands for all of their support and neglect over the last few weeks as we have been dedicating every spare minute into this.  OK, now that I official feel like I have given an Academy speech I will move on…

We had a very successful event on Saturday and were able to raise a lot of money for the Child Crisis Center.  We will be making an announcement in the next week or two on all the details, but wanted to share a little sneak peak from two of our participants. I also wanted to send a reminder that the images are all online on our online proofing gallery.  If you do not have this login information, please email me!  Be sure to check out the Spring for Charity blog for a few more images from Saturday.

Aren’t these expressions priceless?  Not to mention two adorable girls!

Anne — Thank you to Marnee and Jen for such a great event! I was so glad I could be a part of it and the pictures turned out great!! The chicks are adorable and the kids look even better. Good job girls!   ( March 27, 2009 @ 7:35 pm )

Mandy — They turned out great! I am obviously particularly fond of one of these little models. :) I love her little expression, and I loved her concern over them when ever they left her little lap. Too fun.   ( March 28, 2009 @ 11:00 pm )

Jane — These pictures are adorable. I LOVE Grace's expression. It was so fun to help with this event. Your new website/blog is also wonderful. Love it!   ( March 30, 2009 @ 2:36 am )

Megan and Adrian sure know how to plan a party and put on a beautiful wedding.  OK, ADRIAN sure knows how!  Megan, I know you did great, but wow, Adrian… I’ve never seen a groom so organized and hands on!  Way to go.

Please excuse the dust

For anyone that regularly follows my blog (THANK YOU by the way), you may have noticed that the formatting is acting up.  Well, there is good reason!  We are almost ready to reveal a brand-spankin’ new blog-site!  I’m so excited for this big reveal!  It should be live tomorrow, but there may be a few bugs that need to be worked out when everything gets converted over.  So, please be patient.  I am not sure how the RSS feed is going to work, but I have a feeling you will need to update your reader feeds as we will be moving the new site to marriottphoto.com.  Sorry for the inconvenience, but rest assured, I think it is going to be well worth it!  The amazingly talented Brian Crouch at Skooks Design has outdone himself.
