Happy Halloween!

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays… it is right up there with Christmas.  This year my mom really went the extra mile to make these great costumes for the kids.  I was really worried that I wouldn’t be able to get them to dress up as neither boy likes to dress up, and I thought Kate’s costume would be too scratchy.  Boy, was I pleasantly surprised when they all LOVED their costumes and want to wear them all the time!  Luckily, we have had LOTS of parties and occasions this year, so the costumes have had some good use.

Becca — I love the costumes! They turned out great. Thanks for sending us your super cute Halloween card. Hope you all have fun tonight (somehow I don't think that will be a problem).   ( October 31, 2008 @ 11:11 am )

Jen — Your mom is absolutely AMAZING and such a cute grandma to labor away for their adorable costumes...and of course I LOVE the photos and texture! Parker in his captain hook sword pointing is my favorite! LOVE IT!   ( October 31, 2008 @ 2:29 pm )

Mandy — These turned out so great ... the costumes as well as the pictures. Thanks again for a great Halloween. I think we are still trying to come down from the sugar high. Please let your mom know that she needs to start up a business for making adorable things for children. I will be her most devoted customer. I promise.   ( November 3, 2008 @ 7:08 pm )

Engaged - Christine and Mike!

This really isn’t a news flash… however, we FINALLY got around to getting their LONG overdue engagement photos taken.  But, wow… what a great couple.  Christine and I have been friends for 7 or 8 years now.  (Maybe longer?  I don’t remember.)  We used to work together at Marriott and helped open the JW Desert Ridge Resort.  Fun times…

Mike and Christine have been together for just about that long.  And, yes, it is ABOUT TIME that they are finally getting married!  :)  And ABOUT TIME that we got these engagement pictures done.  (OK, that last one was probably my fault as they were so kind to wait and work with my schedule.)  And, yes, Christine, they did turn out.  And, yes, Christine, you do look FABULOUS, and yes, Christine, you will be sending my kids to college with the amount of $$$ you’ll want to spend buying all of these gorgeous pics!  :)

Marina

I look forward to this each year!  Marina’s mom has been a good friend of mine for almost 10 years now (is that really true - are we getting that old?).  I have been able to photograph Marina on a regular basis, and love seeing her grow!  She is so polite, beautiful, and fun!  Thanks Marina…

Happy Anniversay, Kelly & Greg

I completely forgot that I was going to do this!  I had a long break because 1 year ago, I was having a baby and took time off from weddings… but Kelly and Greg’s wedding was my first one back - just 5 weeks after Kate was born.  It was a great day, and a great way to jump back in!  I was happy to be a part of their wedding.

Hope all is going well with you two!  Happy Anniversary!

Jack

It’s been a busy weekend… lots of holiday pictures!  Plus I still have a few from the last couple of weeks that I have yet to post… so there are lots to come.

I finished my last “official” weekend of the holiday sittings at the discounted rate.  However, I still have some availability to squeeze in a few more of our regular sessions this fall if you haven’t got yours done yet!

Meet Jack… one of the most cooperative, easiest, well-behaved boys I have worked with.  Sure makes my job easy!
